How Alarms work
Lifestyle Medical Alarms consist of two components:
- Base unit that requires a power supply and a telephone line
- Waterproof calling device that can be worn as either a watch or pendant
Our alarms automatically perform a daily diagnostic check to ensure that there are no problems with the power supply or telephone service. Nothing is left to chance....
You will wear a waterproof watch or pendant button calling device. [More info]
At the touch of the button, the alarm alerts our fully trained Central Monitoring station who standby 24hours a day 7 days a week. The Central Monitoring station phones the home and if no answer or distress is found then the clients' action plan takes effect. Our predetermined personalised emergency action plan has all the information necessary to obtain assistance from your choice of caregiver, friend or St Johns Ambulance. All at the touch of a button! Caregivers can be confident in leaving the elderly/disabled person on their own with our 24 hour monitoring 365 days.
